Field Poppy Seeds, a red poppy also known as Common or Flanders Poppy or Papaver rhoeas. A native UK wild flower ideal for attracting birds, bees, wildlife and other pollinators to your garden. Suitable for planting and growing outdoors in meadows, fields, gardens and borders.

Best sown from March to June. Flowers June to September. Packet size 2000 seeds approximately

STRIKING RED FIELD POPPY: Easy to grow and stunningly beautiful when in bloom. An annual plant with hairy stems and feathery leaves, produces vivid scarlet flowers. Can grow to 90cm tall in ideal conditions, perfect for borders, fields and meadows.

ATTRACT BIRDS AND BEES TO YOUR GARDEN: Sowing Native Wild Flowers is a great way to attract beneficial insects and pollinators to your garden, allotment or field while also provide a food source for birds and other wildlife.

HOW TO PLANT: Sow directly where they are to flower. Prepare the seedbed by removing perennial weeds and raking soil to a medium tilth. Scatter the seeds evenly and thinly. Do not cover the seed instead just firm in by rolling or treading to give good soil/seed contact. Sow March to June for best results.

TOP GROWING TIPS: Poppies can grow in most soil types, although for best results grow in well drained areas in full sun. Seeds may need some protection from wild birds until they germinate. Keep them well watered initially and remove any weeds if they appear. After flowering, avoid deadheading annual poppies to allow them to set seed.

GO BACK TO YOUR ROOTS: Planting wild flowers is a wonderful way to spend time in your garden, cultivate mindfulness and appreciate the little things just like in years gone by. Working with the earth and growing things is immensely satisfying – teach your children or grandchildren this priceless skill of harvesting food in their own gardens, allotments, greenhouses, inside the home in pots or even in community gardens!

Good grip glow ball
Style: Recharges, Size: Medium
Love this glow in the dark Chuck IT. Get a black light flashlight to charge the neon instantly. Good texture gives the dog better grip than the smooth all white glow in the dark chuck it balls.

Our German Sheppard loves these
Size: Medium
These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.

Great for smaller dogs
Size: Small
These two balls are perfect for the smaller mouthed dog that loves to play fetch. These balls are not only super durable (lots of teeth biting), but float in the baby pool we use for our miniature dachshunds. The value here is much better than you’d find anywhere else. The noise, if bitten hard enough, was “low” at best. Easy to spot/find if overthrown. Will definitely buy again once these are in bad repair; so far, so good-love these for my fur babies!
